Match 12 of PSL 09 was played between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars. Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bowl first. Babar Azam and Saim Ayub batted well and built a huge partnership of 136 runs. Which is the highest Partnership of PSL 09.

 Babar Azam got out after scoring a sensible knock of 48 runs. Saim and Powell played fiery innings from both ends and kept the run rate of Peshawar Zalmi high. Saim Ayub got out after scoring a fiery innings of 88 runs.


Rovman Powell scored 46 runs with a strike rate of 230 plus and got out in the last over of the, innings. Peshawar Zalmi managed to set a huge target of 212 runs.


In reply, Lahore Lost two early wickets on 38 runs. Russie, doing explosive batting from one End, scored a magnificent century on just 50 balls. It was the first century of this season. But, his all efforts Were in vain as his team, Lahore Qalandars, lost the match by Eight runs and moved to the bottom of the table.


Saim Ayub was the man of the Match on his great knock and fantastic efforts on the field.
