CricInsiders was created by Omar Tahir in 2024, a cricket lover, enthusiast, and amateur player who has been playing the game his entire life. After going through blogs, forums, and news websites on cricket for years, he came up with the idea of bringing together his two biggest passions – writing and cricketing and started blogging.

We have one goal: to make you more informative and entertaining when it comes to cricket. We provide coverage of international cricket and profiles of players from domestic leagues like IPL, PSL, BPL, and BBL equipment reviews. At CricInsiders, whether you are a fanatical superfan or an occasional follower of the sport, there is something for everyone.

We are made up of authors from different backgrounds but all share a love for the game of cricket itself; we are all unique. Some used to be partakers in club and school-level competitions. While others were involved in local or national reporting duties covering cricket matches.
